About The Role
Trattoria Da Luigi is an authentic Italian family-owned restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Royal Oak, Michigan. We are currently seeking an experienced server who is passionate about food, wine, and hospitality.
The ideal candidate should have:
At least 2 years of experience in casual or fine dining as a server
Familiarity with bar pours and drinks
Knowledge of Italian wines and bottle presentation
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Reliable transportation
Minimum age of 18 years old
ServSafe Alcohol certification

Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting guests and taking orders
Delivering food and drinks to tables
Providing excellent customer service and anticipating guests' needs
Handling cash and credit card transactions
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service
Training and Support:
New servers will receive on-the-job training to learn our menu, service standards, and POS system.
Our management team provides ongoing feedback and support to help you succeed in your role.
Uniform and Appearance:
All servers are required to wear a uniform consisting of a white dress shirt with tie, black slacks, and apron.
Servers are expected to maintain a clean and professional appearance, including good hygiene and grooming habits.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent listening skills and be able to anticipate and fulfill our guests' needs.
