About The Role
Trattoria Da Luigi, an Italian family-owned business in the heart of Downtown Royal Oak, MI, is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Prepares ingredients and dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Maintains a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety guidelines
Collaborates with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
Ensures that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing manner
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum age of 18 years old
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable transportation
Familiarity with Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
